Jeremiah 17:7-8

"But blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord , whose confidence is in him.  He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream.  It does not fear when heat comes: its leaves are always green it has no worries in a year of drought..and never fails to bear fruit.

I thank God that this is true

For God so loved the world he gave his only son for us.

Think about that.  Would you give up your only child for someone else.  The amount of love that God has for us must be so strong for him to be able to do that for us.  It says in the bible that while we were still sinners Jesus died for our sins.  We in our filthy rags of sin were beloved of God.  He didn’t wait for us to clean up our act but came to us.  When we invite him in to our lives/hearts he sends his Holy Spirit to live with us.  If we will be still and listen the Holy Spirit will guide us through life.  God wants only the best for us.  The Holy Spirit will guide us to do what is best for our lives.   My prayer for you is that you learn to listen to the still small voice that attempts to guide you.  For if you do, you will avoid so many hazards of this life.  God Bless You

Colossians 2:6-7

So then just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him rooted and built up in him., strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing in thanksgiving..

It is the thanksgiving that should go before everything you do.  Remembering all that Jesus did for you should humble you and make you willing to do for others.

But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed Luke 5:16

And when you pray do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues (churches) and on the street corners to be seen by men.  I tell you the truth they have received their reward in full. But when you pray go into your room, close the door and pray to your father, who sees what is done in secret: will reward you.  And do not be like the pagans for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. Mathew 6:6-8

These are some of the things Jesus told us about praying to God.

Authority Roman 13:1-2

Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established.  The authorities that exist have been established by God.  Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against What God has instituted and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves..

Romans 13:8-10

Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another , for he who loves his fellowman has fulfilled the law.  The commandments “Do not commit adultery. Do not murder.  Do not steal. Do not covet, and whatever other commandment there may be are summed up in this one rule:”  “ Love your neighbor as yourself." Love does no harm to its neighbor.  Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.,

Loving your neighbor does not mean just those who you know and who love you back.  In other places in the bible Jesus says what does it avail you if you love only those who love you do not the publicans do the same?
